A treadmill is perfect for people just starting to work out (or seasoned veterans) because it is easy, convenient, and allows you to work out indoors. An epic treadmill is one kind of treadmill that’s been selling well for years. Here is a review to help you decide whether an epic is right for you.
First of all, Epic treadmills are very affordable-a major plus in this day and age. They offer large walking areas, ideal for larger walkers or joggers. However, you need to be absolutely sure that you have a motor with enough power to handle the walking area, or it may burn out. Many Epic models offer limited engine power, causing many models to burn out relatively quickly.
The Epic treadmills, unfortunately, do not offer much cushioning for your knees or back. This is not good, especially if you plan on spending a lot of time working out.
Spending a large amount of time on a treadmill that lacks good cushioning can be disastrous for your health. This is a major consideration to mull over before purchasing an Epic. Also, a brand of epic treadmills (T60) was recently recalled due to safety issues.
The bottom line: compared to other treadmills, Epic doesn’t offer much for the money. If you do plan on purchasing an epic, be absolutely sure that there aren’t other options available to you before you do. There are other brands that offer more bang for the buck.
