Rediscover the Fun of Exercise With Your Treadmill Workout

Spending hours on treadmill is tiresome and boring, as you need to stare at the same wall and follow the same pace. But, let me tell you, this is not all that you should expect from your treadmill workout. Your treadmill work out can be exciting and happening and eventful if you are willing to make it so.



Here are some tips on how you can start enjoying your every moment of treadmill workout.



  • Try changing the pace so that your body does not get accustomed to the workout and stop responding.
  • A pyramid scheme. Will be able to help you better in this case, for example: walk at 3.2 mph for 1 minute then pick it up to 3.5 mph for 1 minute, then go to 3.3 mph for 2 minutes and then 3.6 mph for 2 minutes, etc. You will continue till the time you cannot hold within time period. At that point, go back to 3.2 mph for 1 minute. This way, you will be walking faster and time will fly unnoticed.
  • While you are on treadmill, involve in other activities, like start a conversation with person next to you.
  • You can read a book while walking on the treadmill.
  • You can even listen to your favorite radio or songs for which you otherwise don’t have time.
  • Are you missing out on your favorite sitcom? Watch television while you are working out. After all your eyes and ears are free while you are on treadmill.
  • While you are on the treadmill, do some hill repeats, this will give you some cardiovascular strength.



We should remember that any workout is and can be how you make it. It’s your sweet will whether you would take the opportunity to go all out or just sweat out. Although the treadmill might appear to be an uneventful and boring, by following the tips given above, you will be able to make it fun and challenging.



Weight loss practices are always ‘a pain in butt’... you need it but you do not want it. After all who would enjoy a controlled diet and rigorous exercises everyday! And things get worse when we do not get the desired result on time, and start to have frustrating thoughts.



But, after all these… as I always say, weight loss is not that bad especially when you are innovative and start enjoying the complete practice. There is no need to stress out by expecting too much from yourself. Add fun to your daily routine and see how you start enjoying exercises and dieting. You will not even realize when you achieved a beautiful body and a positive personality!
